Gainsborough Software Ltd is a software house and recruitment agency, originally dedicated to users of the Hewlett Packard HP e3000 range of mini-computers, but now providing software solutions and liveware for all mid-range and desktop computer systems.
Software
The software Division of the business was founded in 1985, specialising in the Vesoft range of tools, utilities and security software for HP e3000 systems. In 1999, a Graphical User Interface for HP e3000 system management was introduced to the software portfolio. In 2001, Gainsborough took over the responsiblilty of sales and support for the Bradmark range of software for the HPe3000 and became a VAR for Bradmark's open systems database and operating system utilities Surveillance/DB and Surveillance/OS. In 2013, Gainsborough Software became a VAR for ROC-Software operations management software tools which includes a cross-platform scheduler and output management solutions.
Recruitment
Our recruitment division of the business began in 1997, by providing a valuable service to existing HPe3000 clients and candidates. The division has since expanded from it's HPe3000 focus to include recruitment services for all IT technical and sales related opportunities, with a particular emphasis on DBAs and Network/System Administrators.
